If you look back on the fight, Qui-Gon was pushing Maul back the whole time, even without Obi-Wan's help. Notice how Maul keeps kicking them to get them seperated, because he has NO chance against them together. Qui-Gon only lost when he lost nearly all of his stamina (He was old, and used Ataru), and Ataru's weaknesses is enclosed spaces, so Maul had the 100% advantage. Not to mention Qui-Gon's Force Abilities and Wisdom were far above Maul's.

It's possible Qui-Gon is stronger than Maul, but it seems equal to me. AOTC Obi-Wan trained 10 years from TPM. 10 years. In TPM he was already good enough to fight Maul on an even scale. 10 years of training and battles later, of course he'd probably have surpassed Maul/Qui-Gon. No doubt about it.

They were both Padawan's and about the same age--Both with excellent teachers (Okay, Obi-Wan had a slightly better teacher...), but Anakin had more raw power and potential, and showed just about as much skill as Kenobi did. I don't see why he isn't stronger than TPM Obi-Wan.

What has AOTC Kenobi done except being tooled by Dooku? He didn't impress against Jango Fett either.

The TPM dou has better feats than the AOTC dou IMO.

Nah. Sidious have yet to prove to be superior to Yoda IMO. And Anakin has yet to prove that as well
